ECCC Collects Christmas Gifts fot Hurricane Victims- East Central Communit} College's Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, recently led efforts to collect Christmas gifts for children of Mississippi Gulf Coast Communit) College employees who lost their homes due to Hurricane Katrina. Coll ege administrators, staff, faculty and students ""adopted" approximate!) 120 youngsters who submitted their "wish lists" to Santa Claus. Area churches and schools also participated in the project.
