EAST CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE RECEIVES WEEMS FAMILY SCHOLARSHIPS: Danielle Bar– rett (left),:a 2004 graduate of Carthage High School, and Kristin Taylor (center) of Conehatta, a graduate of Newton County High School and an East Central Community College sophomore, are the recipients of the Weems Family Scholar– ships. These scholarships were established in 2001 to com– memorate the historical roles of the Weems family of Scott County as members of the faculty, Board of Trustees and stu– dent body at ECCC.
