STUDENT HONORS Emergency Medical Technology-Paramedic students at East Central Community College in Decatur recently took top honors in the Mississippi Emergency Technician Association and the Mississippi Association of Emergency Medical Service Educators student competitions. The ECCC students were named overall competition champions, and they received various individual awards. Chris Vaucihn of Meridian, second from left, received a gold medal for random basic skills, a silver medal for airway management and bronze medals for static cardiology and the written exam. David Clark, third from left, of Preston, received silver medals for static cardiology, airway management and the Written Exam.
