EC Soccer Warriors split pair of matches
Neshoba Central and sopho– more David Prewitt of Clark– dale. Prewitt was also credited with an assist on Vowell's goal and freshman Trey Whitehead of Southeast Lauderdale pro– vided an assist when Prewitt scored. Alan Robertson scored for the Lions, who fell to 0-7. In matches scheduled for this week, East Central is scheduled to travel for matches with South Division foes Copi– ah-Lincoln on Thursday and Pearl River on Friday. The Warriors host Meridian Community College at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12.
East Central Community College's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to visiting Itawamba Community College Friday afternoon and defeated East Mississippi by the same score on Sept. 28 in Scooba. Sophomore Jose Castillo of Raleigh scored the lone goal for the Warriors, who fell to 4-5-1 following the non-division defeat.
