NEWTON COUNTY SOCCER WARRIORS

Members of the ~004 East Central Community College soccer team from Newto~ County are (from left) midfielders Taylor Nichols and Micah Lanier, both products of Newton County High School. The Soc– cer Warriors are 3-1-1 on the young season, following victories over East Mississippi (4-1), Holmes (2-1) and Co-Lin (4-1). East Central fell to Mississippi Delta (3-1) and tied ltawamba (2-2). Kenneth Thompson is in his sixth season as head coach.
