Sponsorships are $650 and includes a hole sponsorsh ip and fees for one four-p erson team. A Silver Sponsorsh ip is $400, which includes a hole sponsorship and fees for two p layers. Also available are Hole Sponsorships, for $200, and T-Shirt Sponsorships, which can be pur– chased for $100. The ECCC Alumni Association is al<;O selling chances for a new golf cart. I'ickets may be purchased from a county representative or by contacting the Alumni Office. The golf cart will be presented a t the awards ceremony fol– lowing 'tournament play. Proceeds from the one-day tour– nament w ill help fund scholarships
for ECCC students who reside in the College's fivc-cou f\~Y district, wh ich includes I C'ake, 1\Ieshoba, Newton, Scott and Winston counties. Approximately $5,000 was raised for scholarships in last year's event, which was cancelled after only a .. few holes because of inclement weather. Scholarships for area students will again be the top prize when the third-annual Fast Central Comm– umty College Warrior Golf Classic is l;leld Llus summer at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club on the Pearl River Resort m Choctaw. Sponsored by the College's Alumni Association, this year's event is scheduled for Thursday, June 24 on the Oaks C.ourse, with a shotgun start set for 9 a.m. Registration bl'gins at 8 a.m. A.s-.ociation president Tam Cooper of Brandon said she antici– pates another successful tournament, as indicated by the early response from alumni and friends of the col-
lege for the fund-raising project. "We already have 11 teams entered, eight Gold Corporate Sponsors, one Silver Corporate Sponsor and two Hole Sponsors. We are looking for the tournament to be filled within the next few weeks," Cooper said. Entry fee for the four-person scramble is $125 per player, which includes green fee, cart, T-shirt, box lunch and the opportunity to win var– ious door and on-course prizes. Prizes ~ill al!-0 be awarded to the top three finishers in each fligh t, and an overall corporate winner \Vill be recognized. Corporate s )Onsorships are also available on various levels. Gold
