Against Itawamba, ECCC had 272 yards rushing and 60 passing for 332 yards in total offense. The East Central defense limited Itawamba to 148 yards passing and three rushing yards. "Our defense played a great game," Underwood said. "They were just outstanding. If the offense can improve to this point, and I think they can, we have a chance to have an outstanding season."
