Boykin, who began his new duties on Aug. 1, IS fill1ng the posit1on held by Fredrick Lyons whose guard unit has been acti– vated for Operation Iraqi Free– dom. Prior to joining the ECCC staff, Boykin was a carpenter for Choctaw Development Enterprise in Philadelphia. He is a 1996 graduate of the advanced car– pentry program at ECCC and won various honors tor his exper– tise in the treld. He placed first rn cabinetmaking rn the State VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) competition and received the carpentry and cabi– netmaking award. He also received a building trades certifi– cate at the Forest/Scott County Vocational-Technical Center and won various awards.
