EMCC 9-11, ECCC 5-1 The homestanding East Mississippi Lions swept a doubleheader from East Central by scores of 9-5 and 11-1 Saturday. In the first game, Hunter Holley (3-2) took the loss for East Central, which was led offensively by Robby Carey, who went 2- for-3 with a homer. Corey Coward was 2-for4. In the second game, Jim Talley had the only RBI for East Central on an infield hit that scored Bryan Ben– nett. The two wins improved the Lions' record to 10-21 overall and 3-3 in MACJC Central Division play. East Central is 10-20, 1-5 in the league.
