ECCC Nursing ProgramHonored East Central Community College'sAssociate Degree Nur~ing program rece1ved honors at the 2004 meeting of the Mississippi OrganiL.atio., for As;)ociate Degree Nursing held on the Gulf Coast. Sophomore Jod1 Kelley (left) of Louisville received t!te Bobbie Anderson Scholarship Award and was presented a $1,000 check to help with her education expenses. Part of her selection was based on her essay titled "Personal Influences That Directed Me Toward the Nursing Profession." The Association of Student Nurses (ASNEC) at East Central was presented The Spirit ofCommunity Award, m recognition of its work in raising funds for the cystic fibrosis foundation. ADN instructor Dana Dear (center), who serves as ASNEC advisor, is shown displaying the "Spirit ofCommunity" award, which \~ill remain at EC until the 2005 convention.
