DECATUR--The Mississippi Manufactures Associa– tion recently conducted Basic Supervision I and D work– shops for area industrial workers at East Central Com– munityCollege's Productivity Enhancement Lab located at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Vocational-Tech– nical Center. The final session in this series, Basic Su– pervision ill, will be offered April 30. The purpose of these one-day training sessions was to present prac– tices and techniques of effective supervision to man– agement personnel. Participants included representa– tives from Weyerhaeuser Corporation, Reman, Inc., Milwaukee ElectricTool, Dart Container, Wells Lamont, G & t Industries, Peco Foods and Engelhard Corpora– tion. Dr. Carol Moss, a leadership development con– sultant and trainer and owner of Bellwether Connec– tions, conducted the session. Dr. Moss, a retired Mis– sissippi State University administrator, conducts train– ing for government agencies, professional and business associations, and businesses throughout the southeast– em part ofthe United States.
