EAST CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE ECCC ALUMNI SPEAK TO WOOD'S CLASS: East Central Community Collegealumni and Louisville natives Marcus Thames (left) and Brad Peterson (right) recently spoke to members of Lucille Wood's physical education class on "What it Takes to Be Successful." They are pic– tured with Wood who serves as health, physical educa– tion and recreation instructor and Chairman of the Divi– sion of Social Science, Business and Education.Thames, who attended ECCC from 1996 to 1997, is a profession– al baseball player with the Detroit Tigers. He was origi– nally drafted by the New York Yankees and has also played with the Texas Rangers organization. Peterson, a 1995 graduate, completed his first season as head foot– ball coach at Forest High School where he led the Bearcats to a10-3-1 record and aberth in the South State Championship game.
