ECCC gets West Lauderdale's lloyd in women's hoops West lauderdale High 1 School basketball standout I Shannon Lloyd has signed a national letter of intent to con– tinue her athletic career at East Central Community College in Decatur. Uovd, a 6-ioot-2 post play- er, averaged 1-1 points and 11 1 rebounds last season and was named MAC first-team All- J State and All-Division 5-3A. • She was also selected the Lady Krughts' Most Valuable Player. During her last three sea- sons, the Lady Knights were 89-18. Thev went 33-5 and were the Oass 3A state runner-up in 2001-02 and were 31-4 and 3A state runner-up again in 2002- ' 03. West finished 25-9 this past season. Lloyd had previously signed with Tennessee State University. She is the daughter of Sharon Lloyd of Collinsville.
