Hunter of Philadelphia poured in 20 points and led the East Central Community College Lady Warriors to a season-opening 80-66 decision over Bevill State (Ala.) Community College Monday night in the Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Building. Also scoring for East Central - the defending Region 23 and MACJC champions- were Kim Cox of Lake, 15; Shannon Lloyd of West Lauderdale, 10; Ashley Flint of Choctaw Central and Kotreece Bender of Newton, eight each; LaSaundra Harrison of Union and Aja Loveless of Newton, six each; Kristin Chaney of Newton County, three; and Sara Judice of Newton and Erica Hardin ofLake, two each. Paris Terry of Oxford and Monica Chandler of Tuscaloosa had 12 points each to lead the Lady Bears. East Central held a 41-19 advantage at halftime.
