NJCAA Women!s Tourne

DECATUR- Brackets were set for the NJCAA Divi– s ion I Women's National CJiampionship Tournament Wednesday with the Region 23 champion East Central Community College Lady Warriors chosen for the No. 10 seed . Play gets under way Tuesday at the Bicentennial Center in Salina, Kan. ECCC, 29-2, will take on seventh-seeded Three Rivers (Mo.) Community College in first-round playTuesday at 2p.m. "I like the '10 seed because of our practice time on Monday," ECCC head coach Brad Hodge said. "If we were No. 7, we would be practicing at 3:30-4:00 (p.m.) and that puts a rush on us the rest of the day. Now we can get a little more organization and not sit around and get anxious. "I like where we're at. We're going to play some– body and that shows what the association feels about us. We're going to just try to take advantage of the game we're in." See ECCC Page C3
