The contest was tied 24-24 at half– time and 54-54 at the end of regula– tion. Gray led ECCC with 19 points, while Cox scored 11 and Birden had nine. Chaney tossed in seven. Viverette had six and both Backstrom and Ebonee Leverette had five apiece. Gulf Coast fell to 14-4 with the loss. The Warriors were not as fortu– nate, falling behind 29-14 in the fll'St half and coming up short in their rally attempt, 65-60. Martin (15 points), Hughes (12 points) and Dyess (11 points) were all in double figures, while Walker chipped in eight points.
