ECCC drum majors Monica Allen (left) of Union is serving as drum major of the East Cen– tral Community College Wall 0 ' Sound Marching Band. Allen, who was assistant drum major last year, is a graduate of Union H1gh School where she received All-Superior ratings in leading the Yellow Jacket Band at marching contests her senior year. She is the daugh– ter of Robert Allen of Quitman and Sharon Allen of Union. At right is Dian Walters of Philadelphia, who serves as assistant drum major Walters earned superior ratings last year ln leading the Tornado Band. In addition, she received honors as a clarinetist, havmg been chosen for the Mississippi Lions All-State Band. She is the daughter of Lola Walters of Philadelphia. Thomas W.
