ECCC hosts Sept. 3 pep rally DECATUR - East Central Community College foot– ball fans can get their first glimpse of the 2002 squad by attending the annual "Meet the Warriors Pep Rally" scheduled for Tue~day, Sept. 3 in downtown Decatur. Activities get underway at 7 p.m. at the Citizens Bank parking lot located across the street from Spanky"s Texaco Station. Station owner Robert Carleton Ill spon– sors the annual event. Participating in the program will be Dr. Phil A Sut- ~ phin, ECCC president; Carleton; and head football coach Terry Underwood. Coach Underwood will provide remarks about this year's squad followed by introductions of staff and team members. The Warrior cheerkaders, Centralettes and the Wall 0' Sound Marching Band will also perform. East Central kicks off the season by hosting Holme:-. Community Col– lege at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, ~ ept. 5 in 'arrior Stadium. - school r eports
