Receives White Scholarship- Scott Central High School graduate Amon Shelley (left) is the 2002 recipient of the J.C. White Scholarship to attend East Central Community College in Decatur. The scholarship was established in 2000 to honor the memory of J.C. White, ECCC Class of 1937. The outstanding student with ECCC recruiter/Tech Prep Career Center director Christi Lee lewis following the College's annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon held on the Decatur campus.
