Receives Vowell Scholarship- Jeffrey Brantley (left), a 2002 graduate of Scott Central High School, was recently presented the Lavern and Elizabeth Vowell Memorial Scholarship to attend East Central Community College in Decatur. The Vowell Scholarship was established in 1993 by Mr. and Mrs. Vowell's children. The outstanding student is shown with family representatives Sylvia Vowell (center) and Natalie Vowell Hatcher (right) following the College's annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon held on the Decatur campus.

Receives Bank of Forest Scholarship- Mandy Revette (left), a 2002 graduate of Lake High School, is this year's recipient of the Bank of Forest Scholarship to attend East Central Community College in Decatur. The outstanding student is shown with Christi Lee Lewis, ECCC recruiter/Tech Prep Career Center director. The award presentation was made at the College's annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon.
