The EC men - led by Denson·s 34 pomts- posted an 88-77 vtctory wh1le the women were not as fortunate as they fel198-74 to the Lady Eagles. In addition to Denson, other Wamor scorers were English. 13; Craig, SlX; Crenshaw and Bobbitt, five each; Qualls and Florence, two each; and Richardson and Hatch, one each. East Central's Warriors posted a 77-64 decision over the Co– Ltn men and earned a split ofthe sea– son series. The Wolves earlier claimed an 80-74 win. With the victory, EC im– proved to 8-10 overall and 3-5 in the division, while the Wolves dropped to 6-12 and 3-5. Corey Hornsby of lstrouma (La.) High School Jed EC with 24 points.
