The ~e finally got played after two po5rponements due to tropical -,tonn lsidore and Hur– ricaneUli. The tie leaves MCC at ~3-1 overall. They are 3-1-1 in South Division play. MCC head coach Alex George felt the Eagles lost focus after grabbing a 2-0 lead and was angry about an over– time ejection of Brandon Rodgers. ··we just could not get in sync today," George said. "We were a touch or two from open– ing il up. We lost position when they took Rodgers out of the game." • East Cel\tral Kenny 111omp– son was elated to get out of Meridian with a draw. "Our squad did what it took," Thompson said. "We chipped away and kept balls away from their territory. We just wanted to continue playing well."

MCC's Kyle Boykin lead the Eagles with a pass to Troy Webb who found Brandon Rodgers for the first score of the game. With 11:49left in the first period striker Brian Bled– soe assisted Troy Webb for the score and gave MCC the lead at 2-0. The ECCC Warriors never gave up another goal. With striker Seltue Kar– weaye making a high kick fit in, the Warrors cut MCC's lead lo 2-1 with 3:30 left in the first half. Karweaye also got the team's second score to tie it in the 2nd period with 14:35 left by taking advantage of a penalty kick. Both teams played aggres– sive down the stretch but both failed to score. Once the game entered over time Brandon Rodgers was ejected from the game. ECCC could not make the extra push they needed as the game went into double over– time. ~either team could score and the matched ended in a 2-2 tie.
