ECCC Soccer Warriors Blank Jones, Fall To PRC

DECATUR--South Division competition began on a success– ful note for the East Central Community College soccer team following a 3-0 shut out . ... over visiting Jones County Jun- ior College on September 17. Sophomore forward Seltue Karweaye of Liberia. West Af– rica, gave EC a l-0 lead in the 20th minute ofaction. Freshman midfielder John Theobald. a product of St. Aloystus in Vicksburg. was credtted wuhan assist on the sconng play. The Soccer Wamors stretched their lead to 2-0 in the 40th minute, foiiO\ving Theobald's fifth goal of the season. Sopho– more midfjelder Johnathan Shoemaker of Nev.1on Count) and freshman defender Chns Stevens ofNortheast Lauderdale assisted on the play. East Central's fmal goal came m the 67th minute from freshman Ricky Archuleta of Richland. who was assisted on the play b) Karweaye and sophomore midfielder Kyle Miller of Neshoba Central.
