"I feel East Central could be real good this coming year," said Jacobs who has been playing soccer since the age of three. He is the son of Jodie and Janke Jacobs. Janice Jacobs used to teach at East Cen– tral, but for Jay it's ECCC physical educa– tional department that was a main draw. "I like the school and they've got a good program in major which is going to be physical therapy," Jacobs said. Mathews says both players should fit in well. "Jay was our right fullback and that's where Ken is going to put him while Chris will also be on defense. Both should do well at the junior college level and if they continue to work, could move on Division I in two years," Mathews said.
