NAMED TO ALL-REGION TEAM-East Central Com– munity College football players Demarcus Granger (left), an offensive guard from Tuscaloosa (Ala.) County, and linebacker Travares Osley of Hueytown, Ala., were named to the All-Region 23 Team following the 2002 campaign. Both players were also selected first team All-State, and Granger was chosen most valuable lineman in the South Division. Qsley led the state in tackles with 106 solo stops and 27 assists. The standout athletes were among eight Warriors tapped for the South squad in the annual MACJC All-Star Football Game scheduled December 14 at North– east Mississippi Community College in Booneville.
