For the second stra1ght week, a second-halfrally fell short of victory for East Central Community College's Warriors who were clipped 13-9 by the Pearl Rive1 Commumty College Wildcats fhursday night m the South D1v1sion opener for both squads at Dobie llolden Stadnun 111 Poplamllc. Freshman ~arcus Cleveland of~orton has been added to the injury list, which now includes several players: running back Ramon Williams; offensive lineman Marcel Binion; fullback Wesley Wrigh t; defensive tackle Chris Allen; and offensive guard Rudy Su 'e, who suffered the most serious injury(broken ankle)in the Holmes game and is out for the sea- son. Horace Glenn led the Warrior offense with 76 yards on 13 carries. T itus Ryan added 54 yards on 14 attempts. Daniel Forrest completed 21 of 30 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns for Pearl River. Prior to the EC contest, Forrest had complete 37 of 83 passes for 430 yards and three touchdowns. East Central will try to get into the win column this Thursday when division foe Gulf Coast Community College comes to cam– pus. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at Warrior Stadium. The Bulldogs, (2- 1) defeated Copiah-Lincoln Community College 16-7 last week.
