EC Women play in Region 23 tourney at Miss. College

After being ousted in first– round action of the MACJC South Division Tournament, East Central Community College's Lady Warriors have now set their sights on win– ning the Region 23 title. EC will take a 19-5 record to the annual tournament, Monday-Thursd ay, a t A.E. Wood Coliseum on the Mis-;issippi College campus in Clinton. Th~ Lady Warriors began competition against state cham pion Jones County Junior College on Tuesday. The Lady Bobcats were 22-7 entcnng the tournament with two of the losses attrib– uted to East Central. f he Lady Warriors posted a 74-68 win f eb. 8 in Ellisville and claimed an 83-68 victory Jan. 16 in Decatur.
