Also scoring were Nikki Lacour, 18, of Natchitoches, La.; Margo Porter, 17, of Louisville: Sophia Reed, 15 of Forest; Nicole Cox 13, of Lake; Alberta Norman, five, of Newton; and Lori Cumber– land of Leake Academy and La'Shonda Ford of Forest, two each. Porter and Cox were also named to the All-Region 23 Tournament team. The championship trophy was accepted by injured sophomo re Sasha Lilly of Columbiana, Ala., who has been out of the lineup since the second game of the season. Lady Warrior head coach Sammy Pace and team members designated Lilly to receive the honor. Rhonda Cooper of Birmingham led Northwest (18-13 with 25 points. East Central held a 45-33 advan– tage at halftime. ECCC 74, Co-Lin 71 Nicole Cox sank two free throws with 9.9 seconds remaining to help seal the three-point victory. Cox, who led EC with 23 points.
