Overall, the Vaqueras made 43 of 79 field goals (54.4 per– cent), 10 of 15 treys (66.7 per– cent) and six of 11 free throws (54. 5 percent). Central Arizona out- rebounded East Central by a 48-29 margin. The East Central-Central Arizona matchup was set up after the Lady Warriors had earlier dropped a heart-break– ing 74-73 loss to number-seven seeded Cloud County of Con,cordia, Kansas, and the Vaqueras fell 58-55 to Cincinnati (Ohio) State. The East Central women, after shooting 51.9 percent (14/27) from the field, 57.1 per– cent (417) from three-point r ange and 64.3 percent (9/14) from the free-throw line in the first-half, completed just five of 25 field goals (20 percent) in the fmal 20 minutes and were unsuccessful on four three– point attempts. However, the Lady Warriors did fare well on the free-throw line, as they connected on 10- of-11 attempt s (90.9 percent).
