The Diamond \Yarriors' home opener i!> scheduled for Feb. 18 against East Mississippi at 1 p.m. Clark. who \\as diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor prior to the 2001 sea– son, led the Dtamond Warriors to their only state champi– onship in 1998. He guided EC to a 365-301-1 overall mark during his 14-year tenure. Efforts to name the base– ball stadium in Clark's honor were led by Ricky Harrison, Warrior Club president; Jake Yarborough, Diamond War– rior head coach and former Clark assistant; and Larry Blackburn, former EC staff member. The proposal was approved by the ColJege's Board of Trustees at its Nov. 13 meeting. In addition to naming the
