Yarborough Interim Head ECCC Baseball Coach Jake Yarborough has been named by the East Central Community College Board of Trustees to serve as in– terim head baseball coach, announced ECCC President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin. Yarborough served the past year as an assistant to head coach Jamie Clark, who lost his battle with cancer earlier this summer. Priot to joining the ECCC staff, Yarborough served as head baseball coach at Taylorsville High School. He is also a former gradu– ate assistant baseball coach at Delta State Uni– versity. In addition,he is a former assistant coach at Union High School and was a student assistant at ECCC. He is a graduate of Union High School, ECCC, and DSU, where he received a bachelor's degree m busl– ness administration and a master sin physical educa– tion.
