ECCC STUDENTS RECEIVE HONORS East Central Community College students, Unda Moody, second from left, of Walnut Grove and Jessica Brumfield, third from left, of Carthage, display awards Phi Beta Lambda received at a National Leadership Conference earlier this summer in Dallas, Texas. Theta Chi members placed third in the Annual Business Report, a 20-page document submitted prior to the conference. ECCC students also finished sixth in the Community Service Project, and came in 1Oth in the American Enterprise Project. Moody and Brumfield presented two-minute and 10- minute presentations for the project competition. The award-winning students are shown with chapter advisers Christy Ferguson, left, and Brenda Johnson, both (j>f Philadelphia. Ferguson teaches business technology courses and Johnson is a computer t~chnology instructor.
