Former ECJC Club Team Members Honored at Homecoming These former East Central Comll'lunity College ath– letes who were members of women's club teams from 1956-1975 were presented varsity letters during a spe– cial ceremony held during homecoming activities in October on the Decatur campus. Former ECJC coach LuciJle Wood, event organizer, made the presentation to her former players "who truly paved the way for women's sports as they are known today." Included in the group are former basketball, tennis and volley– ball team members who participated in their respec– tive sport without receiving scholarships or varsity letters.
