Artwork by East Central Community College alumni Jennifer Thames (left) and Dianne Douglas, both of Newton, will be on display at the College as part of Homecoming activi ties scheduled the week of October 15 on the Decatur campus. A reception to showcase their work will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 18 in the lobby of the Vickers Fine Arts Center. Thames, a 1987 ECCC graduate, will present various watercolors and pastels from her collection. She teaches art at Newton High School. Douglas, a 1995 ECCC graduate, w i\1 featu re her work in watcrcolor5 and acrylics. She is employed at Morton High School, where she teach– es art and history. The talented artists are shown with their former teacher, ECCC art in tructor Bruce Guraedy who also serves as Chairman of the Division of Communications. (EC Photo)
