ECCC Seeks ominations For Annual Homecoming Honors

Alumna oi the Year, Ath– letic Hall of Fame, Aca– denuc lnst::uctvr of the Year and Vocational-Technical Instructor, must be submitted from alumni by the June 15, 2001 deadlme to be consid– ered for this year's Home– coming, scheduled for Satur– day, October 20. Honorees at the 2000 Homecoming observance in– cluded S. Lebrun "Sibb" Hutchison of Littleton, Colo– rado, Alumnus of the Year; Jeanette Beevers Thrash of Decatur, alumna of the Year; Dr. Linda Lane of Jackson, Academic Instructor of the Year; and Sandra Towne Thomas of Chunky, Voca– tional-Technical Instructor of the Year. New members inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame included Billy Ray Dill of Escatawpa; Sue Gunter, woman's basketball coach at Louisiana State universtty; and Jimmy Rea of Madison. In addition, a Life– time Achievement Award was presented to James Land of Union.
