Choctaw Central held a 28-26 hafltime lead against Velma Jackson. only to have the visitors outscore the War– riors 27-7 in the third quarter to take over the game. CCIIS outscored V J 22- 15 in the foUl1h quarter, but it was too late. Shumake and Anselm Henry led the Warriors with lO poitn~ each in the game. whi le Dixon hit for LO.

The Warrior... took a 6-t-53 road win over Carthage High School. before dropping a 68-57 decision to visiting Velma Jackson. Chocta\\ C'entml built up a 34-26 hal ftime lead against the Tigers. then held on to take the ! !-point win.

Intramural Runners-Up

A team called Block Burners won second-place honors in the annual intramural football competition held at East Central Community College in Decatur.
