RECEIVE National Honor - East Central Community College sophomore l\.m} Jones Oeft) of Forest and freshman Marie Griffith of Hickory, both members of the Centralettes, the dance line for the Warrior Wall O'Sound Marching Band ยท ere recently selected as members of the American i\.11-Sta.r Performance Team. They are among 300 squad members c. _sen from a field of 15,000 performers throughout the nation who traveled to London, England, in November oo an International Goodwill Performance Tour. The troupe also perfonned at the Millennium Dome in London. During theu Sla} in England, the, all-American Performance Team participated in a panoraritic city tour of London and traveled tothe Althorp House, childhood home of Princess Diana. in addition, the All-Star Team attended one of the most accla~med musicals, Phantom of the Opera. The international performance team is an honor reserved only for those ind1nduals who most exemplify that energetic, young American "spirit,'' according to a team spokesman.
