;Scholarship recipient Diana Matlock of Carthage recently received the New f.JDirections Scholarship to attend East Central Community t College in Decatur. Established in the spring of 1998 by an tEast' Central graduate and successful business executive, ' ·the New Directions scholarship is awarded to a full-time 1 nontraditional student who has decided to return to col– lege after having been out of school for more than three years.
