Kelley wins Mayes Scholarship Rebecca Kelly Oeftl a 2000 graduate of Lake H1gh SchOOl, 1s the recipient of the Thomas Rudolph Mayes Memonal ScholarshiP to attend East Central CommunitY College 1n Decatur The Mayes ScholarshiP was estab– lished in 1998 to honor the memory of Rudolph Maves who taught English at the College for 28 years. The out– standing student 1s shown receiving the award from Mr Mayes' daughter, Jackie Etie, and her husband, S1d The presentation was made at the College's annual SCho arsh1P Awards luncheon held on the Decatur campus.
