Home 1S the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W llhe Home of Philadelphia. She is actively involved in a nwnber of student organizations at East Central including the Student education Association, Phi Theta Kappa and the Warrior Corps, an elite group of students who assist in recruiting and ser\'e a::.. hosb and h t~ i r ._..,.,.v...""' pus events and acti\ itte::.. She also served as a cheer– leader and was selected as a freshman class favorite and freshman homecoming maid. Home was named as an A 11- American Scholar and received a National Minority Leader– ship Award. She is also in– cluded in Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges and has been listed as a President's List Scholar each of the four semesters she has attended East Central. One of those nominating Horne said, "Nykela is a well– rounded, captivating and intel– ligent young lady. Her matur– ity, work ethic, character and Christian morals are beyond reproach and are rarely foJnd in today's youth." McRae is the son of James and Gloria McRae of Carthage. He serves as president of Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, president of Alpha Al– pha Epsilon ("The Engineers") president of the Presidents Council and secretary of Mu Al– pha Theta, an organization for those excelling in mathematics. He is also a member of the Wall O'Sound Marching Band,
Those who nommated him wrote, "Craig is a conscientious, responsible student who is re– -;pccted by both his peers and instructors. He not only exhibits strong leadership qualities and good study habits, but exem– plary character as well. Craig has maintained an excellent academic record and at the same time, has spent numerous hours fulhlling the duties that accompany the variety of ac– tivities in which he partici– pates." Saveil is a member of the Warrior Corps, the Baptist Student Union, the East Central Em uorunental Club, The East Central Concert Cho1r and the Wall 0' Sound Marching Band. In addition, he was selected for inclusion in Who's Who Among Students m American Commu– nity and Junior Colleges. Those who nominated him wrote, "He is a fine Christian young man who cares deeply for his fellow students. He is a ma– ture student who has the high– est moral character and impec– cable integrity."
Bowen is a member of the As– sociation of Student Nurses a t East Central (ASNEC) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Mississ1pp1 Association of Student Nurses of Missis– sippi. She was also named to the ASNEC Hall of Fame. In addition Bowen is actively in– volved in Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of the two-year college. She is a Dean's List Scholar and was selected for inclus10n in Who's Who Among Students in Ameri– can Junior Colleges. One of those nominated Bowen for this honor wrote, "Cristy is a very dedicated and active supporter of East Cen– tral. she is a pleasure to be around and works very hard at whatever she attempts.
