Vanetten receives award as manager East Central Community College baseball manager Jesse Vanetten of Forest received the most valuable person award following the Dia– mond Warriors' 2000 campaign. Vanetten, a product of Scott Central High School, was presented the award by head coach Jamie Clark at the annual Spring Sports Awards Cookout held at Tur~ey Creek Water Park. East Central completed season action with a 20-29 mark and qualified to compete in the Region 23 Tournament for the fifth consec– utive year.(EC Photo)
