ECCC Receives PTK Honors.... These mem– bers of East Central Community College's Theta Xi Chap ter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, display the various honors presented to the College during the Hallmark Awards Luncheon held at the organization's regional convention in Jackson. Theta Xi received the Willie Mae Hammill Yearbook Award, the Brotherhood Award, the Leadership Hallmark Award, and the 5- Star Status certificate. Craig McRae of Carthage, who serves as chap ter p resident, was named to the presti– gious Order of the Golden Key. Also honored were ECCC Presiden t Dr. Eddie M. Smith, who was pre– sented an Appreciation Plaque, and Ann Burkes, the recipient of an Advisor Service Plaque. From left are ch apter members Tracy Latham, Ginny Rigby and Connie Tew, all of Forest; Bridget Minor of Little Rock; and Kayla Smith of Decatur.
