Also included are five non– divlSlon matches w1th East Misstssippi, I Iinds, Mississippi Delta, Itawamba, and Holmes– Goodman. 1he schedule is rounded out with two matches with Wallace State form Alabama. We are looking forward to the new season and With the end of the semester comes the time to begin thinking of summer camps. We will hold four camps this summer for soccer. The dates and times for each age gt:oup are listed in the newsletter. If you know of someone who i ~ interested in one of our camps, I would hke to send them a registration form. Greetings from the Soccer Department. Have you ever seen a year go by so fast? It seems hke it was last week that we were getting prepared to begin fall practice. Where doers the time go? . We have just completed our spring practice session. We stressed individual skills, mental touglmess, and teamwork in every p ractice. We participated in two six-a– side scrimmages with East Mississippi and finished th e spnng by participating in William Carey College's Six– a-Side Tournament oo the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Our team had the opportunity to play against some of the best talent in the Southeast. The challenge now is to take what we learned and put it to use. Recruttmg for the 2000 Warnor Soccer squad is coming along nicely, how-ever there is sllll room for additional talent. If you know of any interested players, have them contact me at 635-2111, ext. 370. I will be more than happy to set up a time for a visit and workout. The 2000 schedule is set with 18 matches to be played. Ten matches will be played at the new Warrior Field. The Warriors will open the new season at home m August 27 by hosting Andrew College from Georgia. The slate includes ten diVIsion matches with Gulf
