Inks with USM East Central Community Coll~e standout basketball player Anna Udicova has signed a national let– ter-of-in tent with the University of Southern Mississippi. Joining Udicova, a 6-foot-2 forward/center from Presov, Slovakia, during the signing ceremony are Lady Warrior head coach Sammy Pace and h is wife, Virginia. Last year Udicova helped lead the East Central women to a second-place finish in the division and state tournaments en route to a 19-10 record. She was named second team All-State following the 1999-2000 campaign, during which she averaged 9.6 poin ts and 6.4 rebounds. She is cur– rently averaging 14 points and eight rebou.nds for the Lady Warriors. (EC Photo) l
