With the win, Jay Bowen's Warriors snapped a two-game losing skid and improved to 4-2 on the 2000-01 campaign. The Lions fell to 2-3. EC was led in scoring by Chris Webb of Ncshoba Central who pumped in 15 points. Other scorers were Matthew Roebuck with 14, James Denson with 12, Brett Augusta with eight, Brown with seven, and Winfred Craig and Eric Scott with six each. EC led 39-35 at halftime.
