The Lady Warriors (18-8) traveled to Booneville Monday fo r the state tournament at Northeast Community Col– lege. East Central has also qual– ified for the Region 23 Tourna– ment scheduled for next week at Mississippi College. Sasha Lilly led the Lady Warriors Thurs day with 26 points, while Nicole Cox added 24 and Becky Killen of Sebastopol finished with 13. Hayes finished with 30. Moss led East Central with 30 points, while Webb added 12 and Batalo finished with ' . 10. Kent Chamblee of Leake Academy added three points. Maravich finished with 19 points to lead Gulf Coast. Monday, the East Central Lady Warriors won their first– round contes t against host Northeast, 87-68. Cox led all scorers with 20 points, while Lilly and Mon– crief each added 18 and Killen finished with 10 points. East Central again played Gulf Coast in the State finals
