McKinnon of Palatka, Fla, ran for two touch– downs and threw for another score in leading East Central Community College to a 35-8 thumping over visiting Coahoma Community College Thursday night . With the win, East Central improved to 3- 0 while the Tigers dropped lo 0-3. McKinnon put the Warriors ahead early in the non-division matchup when he found pay dirt on a five-yard scamper with 11:59 left in the first period. Freshman kicker Josh Thoms booted the first of five PATs on the night to remain per– fect for the 2000 campaign. McKinnon's tally capped a three-play, 22- yard drive, which was set up when line– backer Anthony Thompson of Blakely, Georgia, recovered a Tiger fumble. The Warriors padded their lead early in the second stanza, with McKinnon finding the end zone on an 11-yard run, capping an eJ::ht-pla:y. 67-yard march with 14:16 left before halftime.
