She has also directed producttcm,; of nze Sound of Music, Annie, and Accommodation~ Her acting credits include Ste~l Magnolias, T11t Currou' ~gt, CaroUSI!I, and Accommodations. The NewtonHigh School graduate abo participated in theater productions while a -;tudent at Ea.. t Central, where she was a member of the Oa.... of 197~. She was cast m lead roles for Blithe Spmt, The Stroage Dilemma, and Tile Sound of Music, which were under the direction of Bruce Peterson. At EC she recel\ ed :>e\ eraI honors, J including the Sue Yarbrough Fu ~ham S~ Award, ECJC Players Award, and the Secondary Education Award. Rigby contjnued her education at MS College, where she graduated with special distinction and receh·ed a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is a member of Forest United Methodist Church and serves on the Board of Directors for Forest Community Arts, where she is also resident d irector of plays and musicals. She is married to William A. (Bill) Rigby and they have two children, Ginny, a 2000 ECCC graduate now attending the Unjversity of Southern MS, and Anse, an eighth grader at Hawkms Middle SChool in Forest. Rigb "
