By SID SALTER Times Edit.Qr___ ____ Five evening classes are being offered by ECCC at the Forest/Scott County Yo-Tech Center for the 2000 fall semester, announced Gene Davis, Director of Adult and Continuing Education.

During a visit to Forest Monday, East Central Community College president Dr. Phil Sutphin said that one of the priorities of his administration would be mak– ing the college experience more accessible to non-tradi- tional students. "In addition to the local course offerings at the Scott County Vo-Tech Center, we will in the near future have online courses and other distance learning opportunities for non-traditional students," said Sutphin. "That's an important part of our future as an institiltion and helps the students acheive." Suthpin and State Community College Board presi- dent Dr. Olon Ray were in Forest on Monday to discuss

Course offerings include English Composition I, Principles of Accounting I, Oral Commw1ication, Human Growth and Development, and General Psychology.
