EC to Host World War II Exhibit.... East Central Community College will be the s tarting place for a seven-stop statewide exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution. Carol Harsh (second from left), Smithsonian project director, recently ,·isited the campus to tour the site for the exhibit. "Produce for Victory: Posters on the American Home Front, 1941-1945" will open at East Central on September 28 and will remain on campus until November 3. The exhibit will be open to the pub– lic and available for school tours. The display is a collection of posters that were u ed to display messages in the United States during World War II. In addition, the College hopes to add local collections to the display. Harsh said, "So many times stories are told about what happened in the war, but not apout the home front.
